Meet our Care Team

Dr. Foster, DVM

Meet Dr. Kelly Foster, Medical Director

Dr. Foster is originally from Birmingham, Alabama. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from Birmingham-Southern College and then from Auburn University as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. She moved to Denver, Colorado and practiced there for 10 years before deciding she had enough of the city life and needed to be closer to the ocean. In 2021, she moved to Kona and started with Waikoloa Veterinary Service. After some unexpected health issues in 2024, she switched from general practice to focus on helping address the island’s pet overpopulation problem. She enjoys spending time with her pets, reading, snorkeling on our beautiful island, and traveling the world with her husband.

Meet Dr. Casey Milnes

Dr. Milnes is originally from Kauai, Hawaii and grew up spending a lot of time on her family’s horse and cattle ranch. She attended Colorado State University for all her post-graduate education including her Bachelors, Masters and DVM degrees before returning to Hawaii to work. She joined Aloha Animal Alliance after 13 years in general small animal practice here in Kona where she developed a strong interest in canine and feline internal medicine, ultrasound, and soft tissue surgery. She also carries experience in dermatology, basic wellness and emergency medicine where she looks forward to being a part of your pet’s health care team.
